Celebrate Japan: Touch Wood

I’m still speechless…

There is a serious message here about not wasting resources, reusing materials and environmental impact, but a wooden phone? For chatting while riding your wooden bicycle?

  1. what engineering! the originator must have been on his second tokkuri when he came up with that one. I would have liked to have been in the meeting room when they talked financing for that commercial with Docomo. Nice find there, Lis-Britt.
Snow today in NYC… branches heavy with leaves and snow cracling here and there. They had to close The High Line (Joanne and I took in in a couple of weekends ago in warmer conditions!

    1. Hi Mark,
Snow for Halloween! Whadda’ya know. Thanks for pointing me to the High Line. Looks great and 20 million dollars should guarantee it’s future, no? There’s a video somewhere on YouTube about the making of the Xylophone CM, but I’m not sure scenes from boardroom meetings are included.
